HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PITCH

  1. Fill out our form with your and your friend’s information

  2. Send us a PDF copy or Google Slides link of your presentation by EOD Monday, February 2nd @ 10:00pm

  3. 12 presentations will be chosen and contacted on Tuesday, February 3rd

HOW TO DESIGN A GREAT PITCH

Tell us why your friend would make outdoorsy folks swoon! “Outdoorsy” can look like a lot of things, so be encouraged to play with the theme however you like.

  • 3-5 slides. Don’t go overboard. When in doubt, lots of pictures.

  • Tell a story. Short anecdotes give us much more flavor than a list of attributes.

  • Be specific. Look, Seattle has lots of nice people who like hiking and breweries. We get it. So why does your friend stand out? What are their niche interests? What’s their brand of weird?

  • Don’t be afraid to poke fun. Nobody’s perfect. A little teasing adds humor.

  • TIME YOURSELF PRACTICE. 3 minutes will go by quicker than you think!

Tickets are SOLD* OUT (*free). But, all chosen pitches get 4 tickets, and there will be limited walk-in space as available.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • 12 people will be selected in advance to pitch their trailmate

  • Presentations will be a 3-minute PowerPoint

  • 2-minutes of Q&A from the audience

  • Audience members can leave their information for people they're interested in

  • Afterparty of mingling and laughing

All presenters and presentees will get a free beer at the event for a little liquid courage.
